How do I make a reservation?

A :

We have updated our registration page so you can now register for the class and pay by credit card or mail the check in.  Simply register on line, select the preferred method of payment, and you will automatically be emailed the registration confirmation and your credit card receipt or invoice if paying by check.

How far in advance should I make the seminar reservation?

A :

As soon as you get approval to attend, please register for the seminar.  We do fill each class up so please do not delay.

How far in advance should I make the hotel reservation?

A :

Go to the HOST HOTEL page on our website and make the hotel reservation with the hotel as soon as possible. A limited number of rooms were reserved at a special rate and the group rate expires about 30 days before the first day of class.  This date does not mean rooms will still be available, it is only the last day to make hotel reservations at our contracted rate.

Do I need to rent a car?

 A :

Not at all.  Just take a taxi, UBER or LYFT to the hotel.  We select hotels that are close to the airport and within walking distance to restaurants, entertainment, etc.  The price of the hotel does not include parking, which at some hotels is pretty expensive.

What is the dress?

 A :

Casual civilian clothes.


Q : 

What do I need to bring?

A :

You only need to bring your personal belongings. You will receive a book with all the PowerPoint presentations in it.


Q : 

Is this class California P.O.S.T. approved?

A :

No. It is the policy of Special Event Safety Seminars to provide you with an exceptional learning experience. With the restrictions P.O.S.T. wanted to place on us, we elected to maintain quality and not obtain P.O.S.T. approval.


Q :

Do I have to stay at the Host Hotel?

A :

This seminar is held in a meeting room at the Host Hotel.  We negotiate a great rate for you and hope you take advantage of our room block.

Where will the class be held?

A :

At a conference room at the Host Hotel.


Q :

What are the differences in the classes offered throughout the year?

A :

None. The course content is the same for all the classes.


Q :

Is there a group discount?

A :

The hotels continue to raise prices for meeting rooms, etc.  We are trying to keep the tuition low and unfortunately we are unable to give group discounts.


Q :

Does the hotel have a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport?

A :

No.  The quickest way is to take a taxi or ride share vehicle.

 

Q:

What time does the class start and end each day?

A :

The class starts at 8:00 AM each day and normally ends at 5:00 PM.  The last day we usually end no later than 4:00 PM.  If you need to leave early due to flights, etc., just let us know that day so we can provide you your certificate.
